Use a serrated electrified chinese officer sword for the melee weapon. I liked using a silenced combat rifle with the short ported barrel for a smg feel. Generally, save for a few exceptions, Armor pieces in Fallout 4 can be categorised into 5 main types: Combat, Leather, Metal, Raider and Synth. Armor can be customized by applying Armor Mods. There are also Legendary Armor in the game that are dropped from Legendary Enemies. Use any silenced automatic early on until you can either get Spray N' Pray or Overseer's Guardian. Armor in Fallout 4 protects the player from damage in the Wasteland. You can take the shadowed mod off and put it on your armor regardless of having no perks in Armorer. You can make the combat armor shadowed by getting pieces of shadowed combat armor off of enemies. Gear: Brotherhood of Steel Officer Uniform, Black Ops/Commando Chest piece Shadowed, Black Ops right shinguard shadowed, Sturdy Combat Armor shadowed for the rest. I liked using energy weapons when I was spotted and had to go loud. If you don't have DLC then Lone Wanderer IV can be exchanged for Science! perk. Starting SPECIAL: S-7 P-1 E-3 C-1 I-6 A-9 L-2 Take SPECIAL book from Sanctuary in Agility This build makes use of Moving Target so sprinting is important as well as Blitz. It can hold it's own in an outright firefight as well, having a large pool of action points.
